The wind gently rushed upon the tops of the elegant shards of emerald that populated the field, making them dance with one another in a chaotic yet fantastically gorgeous array. The warm heat of summer came sweetly down upon the cool earth in wisping sheets of rejuvenating pleasure from its source the blazon golden sun. Roughly a touch past two, a small grove of tree's off to the side that formed a light forest, the vaugness of whiche's shadow faintly towered out over the grassy field.

In between these two forces a tan dirt road had been run, isolating the competitors and forcing both into a never ending stalemate with one another, neither the forest nor the plain able to overtake their rival. This poorly defined road had the footsteps of numerous beings that had many a time trodden down the very path that seemed now to have a new occupant coming forth, signaled by a gentle trodding sound coming up over the horizon. The slight assortment of tree's that overhung the overpass at first kept the new arrival from coming into view, as though it did not want such a being to be noticed on its sands.

Finally, however, a lone hobbling figure could be made out, breaking threw the veil of the wood as he came wobbling forward on a small wooden cane. Toiling greatly to come threw the wood, the nature of the being came into perspective for those that might spot him. Atop the beings head was a tattered blue hat that had the look of an item that had suffered greatly the ware of battle and had been around for quite some time. Glancing down further, the tattered pointy ended hat cut off the beings facial features from view with the exception of a pair of glowing silver eye's and a flowing beard of matching color. The rest of the beings bent frame was clad in a blue robe that encompassed his entire emaciated being as he came to a halt in front of a wooden sign implanted sternly on the forested side of the path.

Was the signs title in freshly painted black letters. Seeing this the wizard halted for a moment, merely staring at the sign and leaning on his staff as he considered and contemplated. Reaching a conclusion, the wizard suddenly seemed to melt away. The bent and tattered frame found its strength and vigor, all at once straightening into a rigid upward assembly as the being took forth his want and staff together and shot forth a splendid glimmer of silver energy at a tree that's trunk was hovering over the sign. The blinding silver light grew in intensity until all one could see was the gleaming crystal white glow of the magic that had been cast.

As one's vision begins to clear, the tattered frame of the wizard we had seen earlier has returned and walked a fair distance from the spot, the glowing silver letters of what he had wanted to say etched into the wood of the tree above the sign.

A beautifully assembled area! I hope to have much fun hear in my wanderings!
