Lovely guardians, Ite

The monster made a swipe in Raichana's general direction but it's aim was terrible. There was a reason for the term dumb as a tree.

However the real damage was being done by the creature's roots. They were causing tremors through the ground as they dug deeper. Soon they would cause above ground damage, specifically to nearby buildings like the school.

"Rai! We need help somehow!" the girl yelled.

Soon, there was scratching on the bathroom door... the teacher looked at it and blinked as she heard a mew.

"Rhodochrosite beam" Arian cried out hoping to hit the monster.
Rai had fallen down from the tremors and was trying to attack but was finding it hard to stay focused.
Darious looked at the bathroom door and slowly opened it.

Arian's beam managed to clip the monster, which bellowed again and began wildly smashing anything within range. The it picked up a large chuck of now lifeless earth and hurled it in the general direction of it's tormentors, only to drastically over-shoot it's target and send a massive cloud of soil and dust over the school.

With their entire class moving to the windows to look at this strange phenomenon Peter and Gemma snuck out of their class.

Peter had a huge smile on his face at the prospect of missing the class. Even if he had to fight monsters instead.

A cat ran out, liz half jumping out of her skin. "What's a CAT doing in here?!" she shrieked.

Katzen whimpered a little as the mound of earth felw over head. "I'm so happy that thing has shitty depth perseption." She said, managing to get herself properly grounded.

At Katzen's comment the creature turned looked at her and gave with a single treelike finger expressed it's unhappiness at the comment in a very human gesture. And then one of it's roots broke the surface of the ground and wrapped around her ankle.

"Okay! okay! Your depth perception isn't THAT shity!" She yelled kicking at the root with the uncaught foot. then it hit her! That dagger of hers HAD to be able to cut!

Rai continued to attack... but it was weak since she had no time to charge.
Arian did her best to try and do some damage, aiming for anything that looked like eyes.

Rai and Arian's attacks managed to dazzle the creature distracting it long enough for Katzen to try her dagger. Some of their attacks actually hurt the thing.

The thing let out another bellow just in time to bring it's head in line for a thown hammer to make contact. If it wasn't for it's roots the creature would probably been knocked on it's ass.

Katzen started sawing at the roots, trying to cut through it. She was happy to see that it was sharp like a real dagger!

When the creature was hit Katzen let out a little yelp. "What the hell?!"

The crumpled face of the creature bore a similar expression to Katzen. It's eyes widened as the hammer that struck it dissappeared in a flash of light and reappeared in the hand that threw it.

A shining figure adorned in glimmering white armor stood brandishing said hammer, his skin was pristine white and his eyes glittered like diamonds.

"This is your only warning monster, surrender or be destroyed."

The Tree creature looked around to anyone nearby; it's face seemed to say "Is this guy for real?"

Katzen blinked a number of times, still dangling upside down with one arm reached to the limb with a knife and the other holding on . "Whoah. It sounds like a steel steam man from one of my books."

Rai blinked. "Who... is he..." she spoke softly, completely forgetting about the monster for a moment.

"Someone very, very shiney," Katzen remarked.
About that time Di ran out of the school, meowing loudly at the creature. The small kitten sit and sputtered totally ignorant of the size difference.

The monster got over it's stunned state and lashed out at the shining figure.

There was a crack as the tree limb was intercepted by the man's hammer. fissures began appearing in the beasts limb.

The shining knight then stuck the limb again with his hammer and said "Diamond Anvil" the hammer released a wave of energy into the creatures arm blowing it to shards.

The creature shrieked in pain, but almost imediatly began slowly growing a new arm. The knight's gaze narrowed. He looked at those around him and said. "Aim for the roots. anything else will grow back eventually"
