Lovely guardians, Ite

Base info:
Plot type- Non-dedicated plot, feel free to play with it.
Setting- Semi-medieval with touches of present day. An example is that there are schools with totally impossible uniforms.
Format- whatever you’re comfortable with, just try to be somewhat detailed, a person can’t drink something you don’t pull out and hand to them.
Rating- PG 13 for now.
Character limit- There is no limit to the number of characters you can have. Multiple characters are encouraged! All races are allowed, but one must keep in mind that humanoids are the dominant species. They won't notice pointy ears or odd colored eyes, but if your charra has green skin, purple hair and is shooting fire out of it's nose, don't expect non-violence.
Literacy level- Taip3 laik d1$ and I’ll scream. Other wise, as long as we can understand you all is well.

Plot: The city of Dolomite is a peaceful place. there are mountains to one side and the sea to another. Trade and jewelers are big in this city due to the precious gem mines. However, one day something brought chaos to the port city.
Miners had found something powerful, something dangerous.

"Hey boys! Found something! You gotta see this!" A miner's words echoed off the walls.
His fellows crowded around the big hole he'd created in the tunnel. They managed to get in, finding themselves in a large dome like area... one of the more imaginitive ones thought it looked like a vault.
In the centre was what looked like a pedestal, atop of it was a glowing stone. hey stood there... staring at it for who knows how long... then one man ran forward.
He tried to get it out of it's place, just thinking it would be impossible to remove. It was the opposite. In his haste the man knocked it off, the stone crashed into the ground. It shattered into so many pieces in a flash of light.
The 'vault' went dark.

"Too hot." Muttered the red head, using a book as a fan to no avail as she walked through the crowded hallways. Girls in skirts and boys in trousers walked fast on either side of her. She went her own speed, ignoring that almost every one was going far faster than she.
Ore highschool was starting a new year, and it was doing it on the hottest day of the season. It figured.

A girl with brown hear and golden streaks made her way beside the red head. "you would think with weather like this... they would let us wear the summer uniform... this is absolute murder..." it was hard to tell if she spoke to the red head or was just talking in general.
