Nintendo as been around since the 80's and despite the comments before the release of the Wii people thought Nintendo was finished for Sony and Microsoft ruled all, With there superior power laughing at Nintendo Weak ass system specs.
Well hahaha looks who's laughing now,

The Wii as wiped the Best Buy Floor With Them, Getting the system is an Hyrule adventure within in it's self. Nintendo can't keep up with the demand and it looks like Nintendo will be around for another ten years. Good Luck next time Microsoft with your defective system, not the red eye again get the towels out.
Well Sony can't even sell their system with no good games, no ones going to buy it, Anyone want an $800 paper weight.
Though Nintendo could use some new original ideas for the franchise. How many Mario Party games could they possibly make.

Not only has nintendo been around since the 80's... it's been around since 1889... thats a really really long time...
they started out as a card company... eventually they also started to make toys.
Shegeru Miyamoto was hired in the 70's... he was an odd kid who lived in an area of Japan that allowed for lots of exploring caves and the like... this gave him inspiration for some of the greatest franchises known to man
Gunpei Yokoi, who is best known for making the handheld that has saved Nintendo Countless times was found simply because he had made an extendible arm for fun and that helped save the compony after card Sales went down.
now we have countless amazing games... 5 Great systems, 3 great handhelds (i am not including the upgrades the handhelds made... ex GBA to GBASP to GBA micro) and only a few major flops... Virtual boy anyone?
plus a crap load of games that are fun to this very day http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_games_published_by_Nintendo just take a look...
yes they have only dealt with Electronics for 30 or so years... thats still a very long time... and i think it'll keep going for a long time...
i mean somes games that are comming out very soon could support the system alone...

I hope Sony gets there act together and starts making a cheap system with fun games... but i just don't see it happening soon enough... and that makes me sad
I want more games for Xbox 360 then i do for PS3... and that makes me sad... very very sad

it is really amazing to look at something and go "wow... this all came from a company that made cards and toys..."

I just wanted to but my two cents in here.....

I Have every console nintendo has put out in the Us except the Wii I haven't been able to get one yet. But every console I have still works and I still play my orginal Nes with the orginal Zelda. And duck hunt.
I have a deep love for nintendo. And like wise nintendo has a deep love for there fans. they keep things cheap and give us many hours of fun.

You've gotta hand it to Nintendo . . . they're still going strong even when pit against massive electronic enterprises like Sony and Microsoft.

I always found it kinda weird that the same people who manufactured my TV or made my word processor were also pumping out gaming systems and software.

I love you Sony, but I think I'll always be a Nintendo girl at heart.
