Strange dreams |
|
Have a strange dream? Want to share it? here's the thread!
I had a creepy/strange dream just today.
Sort of a "You know you play too much nintendo when...." Thing.
I forgot how it started but I was going around a mario like set up only the idea was to go down, not up for the level and it got colder. There was something I couldn't get to normally, so I turned into a shadow and went around it, then out a cave door to an outside area full of snow.
Then things went zelda as I had to crawl past an anouki to a ledge and drop a bolder on it after taking normal form. Then crawled down in shadow form again, got something from the chest the anouki had been guarding and went home.
Only it wasn't home home. Oh it was dark. It was a simple, more crude version of my house and garage. Our garage is like a three minute walk from the house ( Lol ) and in this dream it was more like 30 seconds at a slow walk but was still disconnected from the house. Some guy drove up while I was in the garage ( which was... furnished O_O? ) and started towards the house I follow. We exchange dialogue he says something that I feel is threatening. I say "Well, I can go shadow." and I do. He then chases me with a flashlight D:

@.@ Oy I've had some really weird dreams myself...
Random tidbit I've heard about understanding dreams:
"Some believe dreams are the minds way of expressing what's playing on your emotions at any given point in time or what situations your dealing with in life. One way that can help us understand what the dream is trying to say is to recall the feeling we had immediately after awaking from the dream and seeing what situations in our life may have a similar feeling associated with it."

Lol.
Scared and confused, but strange versions of the combo. XD
My dreams rarely have anything t do with my real life. Maybe what i've been PLAYING in my real life. But rarely the life it's self.
Gods know the dreams I had after a week of playing tibia every night for hours on end... XD Never had so much pointing and clicking in one dream before.

As Kat would know, I have a recurring dream where I'm at a large nightclub show, right up at the stage - the rail has finally been taken away (I wish I had been around for back when there weren't rails keeping people from the stage at concerts...damnit...). And Children of Bodom comes out to thunderous applause. I'm inches away from Alexi mother-fucking Laiho. Usually I have someone close to me there. Alexi always gives me a high five and a guitar pick
It shows up and then is my dream every night for two or three weeks then goes away and comes back a few months later.

*giggles* I remember you telling me about that.
Lol I found the posts talking about my tibia related dream xDD
"If I were you I'd go to a diff server for now.
I'll get on again tomorrow. I just need a break for the night
My dreams were full of pointing and clicking and a voice telling me "You can't use that" as well as little blue messages popping up in front of my vision."
XD He he.

I may not have recurring dreams but there is a recurring theme to my ever growing in numbers NIGHTMARES!!!!! Here is the theme, I have to protect a child or my own baby from some killer psycho and then i kill the psycho and then I get punished in some way. Last night I had 6 yes 6 nightmares that after all the horrifying violence and suffering and me being terrified I get carted off to jail!!! JAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111one11!!!!! I am starting to become an insomniac again because now my nightmares wake me up at least 6 to 7 times regularly a night, and on the really bad nights it gets up to 11 to 13 times i get woken up in terror.
*cries cause she is exhausted*

Have you tried sleeping with music? I cut on the light or some music and I usually don't dream much or at all.
However, stay away from growly music if that dream is the one you keep getting, try something soothing.

XD
Growly music IS soothing!
Okay, Okay, maybe most of it isn't...
But, yeah, I agree with Kat. I sleep with music on every night. Yeah, I still dream - but it's not really anything frightening, even if I've got blasphemous shrieks against every form of religion known to man blasting out of my stereo Though some of the dreams leave me wishing I had had a nightmare instead, but I won't get into that here.
